Adrian is captivated by the human form, which he uses to explore concepts of identity, sensitivity, and physical freedom. He is a transgender illustrator and adventurer—born, raised, and based in Portland, Oregon. When he’s not drawing, Adrian loves video games, baking, and long distance running.

What or who inspires you?

Adrian: Kermit the Frog is my #1 inspiration. He’s so optimistic! He also has a great sense of fashion.

What do you geek out about?

Adrian: Queer history. I could go on about it for hours.

What fictional/video game character would you be?

Adrian: Probably Isabelle from Animal Crossing. A little bit scatterbrained and talkative, but passionate and hardworking.

Is there anything you wish you had known when you started school, that you know now?

Adrian: Stop taking this all so seriously! There is nothing serious about art!
